  • As an Associate Content Operations Specialist, you will spend your days collaborating with the teams responsible for Overwatch 2's commercial strategy as well as our feature and content development teams, and you’ll play an instrumental role executing on all data entry and configuration operations that connect our game assets to Blizzard’s and our partners’ commerce and distribution systems, ultimately delivering new and exciting content in the hands of our players.

    Covid-19 Hiring Update: We’re currently in a work-from-home model, and we’re continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to begin as a remote position but will transition to at least a partial in-office position based out of Irvine, CA. We understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore possible interim options.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute on the creation and configuration of products for the Overwatch Shop and other initiatives such as viewership incentives, commercial partnerships, or special events.
  • Participate in the configuration of assets, associating game content with the products that will unlock access to that content.
  • Maintain the Overwatch Shop schedule and layout configuration, in collaboration with our Commercial teams.
  • Implement product prices and their changes during sales.
  • Work with our content development team to manage and document the schedule for new product releases or initiatives.
  • Work with our production team to iterate on and improve our internal tools dedicated to products and Shop management.
  • Serve as an ambassador of Blizzard core values and team values, promoting and contributing to a culture of inclusion and diversity.
  • Qualifications:
    • Experience working in digital commerce, content operations, digital supply chains, or with digital products implementation and reconfiguration.
    • Experience managing and updating shop content and campaigns under the direction of management.
    • Ability to prioritize effectively under important deadlines, executing on projects’ implementation in a timely manner.
    • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Attention to detail, can-do attitude, and a customer service mentality.
    • Being a force for good – always acting in the team’s and game’s best interests.
  • Pluses:
    • Experience with support on a live product or online game.
    • Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Jira, Confluence, or comparable applications.
    • A passion for Overwatch and Blizzard games.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $24.04 - $44.47 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
