The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire Operations team within the Houston, Texas territory. This position oversees direct customer-facing staff members, as well as independent unit franchisees, where positive customer and franchisee relations are necessary to cultivate excellence of service.
Reporting directly to the Regional Director, the Operations Manager will be responsible for providing franchise owners and Jani-King clients the support, training, and customer service needed to continually represent and uphold the Jani-King commercial cleaning standard.
This role requires the applicant to be assertive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized and hard working. While the usual hours of operation will be 8:00am to 5:00pm, the applicant may occasionally be expected to work nights and/or weekends when circumstances require so.
The applicant must have excellent communication skills and not be timid to speak directly to clients and/or franchise owners. Furthermore, the applicant must be comfortable meeting with high-level executives and other members of management representing Jani-King's largest clientele.
Primary Duties
- Manage direct staff’s daily schedules
- Monitor quality throughout service organization
- Offer accounts to franchise owners
- Oversee New Franchise Training
- Interface with Customer Service for Quality Assurance
- Maintain a large account portfolio with monthly visits
- Reduce cancellations
- Maintain positive franchise relations
Education
- A minimum of an Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university is REQUIRED
Experience
- A minimum of 4 years of industry-related experience and/or training is PREFERRED
- A minimum of 2 years of customer service management is PREFERRED
- A minimum of 3 years of management experience is REQUIRED

Compensation: $55,000-$70,000 Base Salary + Commissions + Bonuses + Company Car + Fuel Card
