SCOPE
Maintain, analyze, and reconcile daily/periodically financial transactions in General Ledger (GL), including management and regulatory reporting, for sites making up financial and/or legal groups/entities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily reconciliation of bank accounts and Retail credit/debit cards activities.
- Daily reconciliation to owners of Multi-Site Operated (MSO) liabilities, including monthly PDI reporting.
- Monitoring/troubleshooting Cash Over/Short, Credit Card Chargebacks, and Payouts.
- Monthly reconciliation of fuel inventories, and C-store inventories.
- Periodic reconciliation/analysis of all active Balance Sheet (BS) GL accounts, including Equity roll-forward.
- Periodic vendors rebates calculations, accruals, and billings.
- Capital lease obligations and intercompany transactions
- Fixed assets recordkeeping in FAS, related JEs updates in GL, and roll forwards, site basis.
- Trend review of Profit & Loss GL accounts (P&L) to identify exceptions in pre-close cycle, site basis.
- Preparation and reconciliation of Sales & Use Tax filings and Property/Real Estate taxes, site basis.
- Compliance with month-end periodic closings and deadlines.
- Prepare assigned tasks for financial and statutory audits.
- Participate in ad-hoc initiatives related to assigned area of responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Accounting from an U.S. accredited university/college
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Mid-range ERP environment
- Intermediate level of working experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook applications.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Satisfactory background and references
