MAIN FUNCTIONS: This is an entry level position. The Utility will learn about the plant by performing basic tasks under the direction of the Shift Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learn products and product codes.
• Follow Shift Supervisor instructions.
• Maintain Plant cleanliness.
• Learn at least one department.
• Attend all Safety meetings.
• Obtain Forklift Certifications.
• Assist Bulk Loading operations.
• Transfer rework products.
• Completion of Qualification Card/s for designated area and/or other job position/s that may be assigned.
• Uphold a quality-conscious and food-safe culture.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently and/or as part of a team.
• Must be able to work any day and/or shift including weekends and holidays.
• Have the ability to perform all above tasks in an environment in cold or hot temperatures.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, as well as working at heights.
• Must be able to work in confined areas on a regular basis
