Under the direct supervision of the Patient Services Managers, you will perform a variety of duties in cleaning and sanitation practices and procedures. Your responsibilities will include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing floors, washing walls, doors, windows, light fixtures, discarding trash in waste bins, cleaning, sanitizing and relining all trash containers and linen hampers. You will also be responsible for proper storage of housekeeping equipment and reporting equipment malfunctions. Responsible for washing dishes, pans, utensils, and small equipment according to established procedures.

The position is also responsible for developing and maintaining excellent customer skill levels both internal and external customers while adhering all safety and sanitation practices and procedures as outlined by JCAHO and HACCP as well as full participation as a team member, focusing consistently on the department’s mission to “Meet or Exceed Our Customer’s Expectations”

Salary range: $24.32-$24.32 Hourly

Required:

• Ability to read and write, follow oral and written instructions in English language.
• Ability to work in standing position for a long period of time, stretch, stoop, bend, climb ladders and reach repetitively.
• Ability to work in hot, cold and/or wet areas, lift 40 lbs., push loaded carts weighing 350 lbs.
• Knowledge in the use, disposal, and labeling of chemicals used in a food service setting.
• Ability to conform to dress code and work in a non-smoking environment.
• Ability to practice safe food handling techniques, must have good hygiene.
• Ability to adjust to fluctuating work load and adhere to production schedule.
• Interpersonal skills and interact effectively with co-workers, customers, asst. managers and managers.

Preferred:

• Experience working in a food service kitchen setting.
