Medical Documentation Specialist - Nightshift (Remote) Job at Wisedocs
Role Summary:
Reporting to the Client & Services Manager, the Medical Documentation Specialist is responsible for medical documentation review and analysis, and will participate in software tests to identify bugs, assist in technical review, and improve product.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our Clinical Operations team and our QA team
- Compile, sort and verify data
- Compare data with source documents, and detect technical and clinical errors
- Directly contribute in our software training and machine learning procedures
- Support with the creation and maintaining the Knowledge Base Articles, FAQ and Help Guides
- Troubleshooting pipelines and Buffer issues
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- This position is ideal for a recent university or college grad in health sciences (such as kinesiology) that would like to re-invent themselves in a tech environment
- Experience in similar role a strong asset Relevant educational background
- Technical skills including high proficiency in typing and use of Office 365
- Exceptional grammar, communication and writing skills across all forms of media
- Self-starter, comfortable working in a rapidly evolving fast paced environment
- Strong analytical skills, conceptual skills, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to exercise flexibility and judgment
- Extreme ownership: you find a problem; you bring the solution to the finish line.
Must be available for night shifts Monday - Friday and periodically on weekends. We are flexible on the shift time as long as it falls between 8 PM - 8 AM EST.
