Machine Operators - Lake Forest Job at Volt Workforce Solutions

We have multiple machine operator positions for a company located in the Lake Forest area to start right away!
2 Shifts available: 7:30am - 4:00pm or 3:15pm-11:45pm
Pay: Depending on Experience
Positions are TEMP TO HIRE!
Once hired on 100% PAID employee medical insurance.
Screw Machine Operators
- Create part programs for CNC Swiss lathes either on the control or using offline software such as WinCNC.
- Setup machines/Assist Operators with Setup
- Run the first article inspection
- Perform in-process inspection
- Attention to detail, the medical device requires detailed paperwork and traceability
- Assist with program optimization to meet quality/production goals
- Keep workplace organized
- Versed in various measuring tools (indicators, micrometers, calipers, optical comparator)
- Experience selecting cutting tools, and work-holding solutions
- Experience with Citizen Swiss Lathes (M-Series, L-Series), CAV, and Tryton Barloaders
- Experience with Precipitation Hardened Stainless Steels, feeds, and speeds
- Fill out the work order and quality data
EDM Wire Operators
- Loading and unloading Parts
- Use of a Micrometer, Comparator, and Caliper to check parts
- Must be very detail-oriented to Operate EDM Wire Machine
Mill Machine Operators
- Loading and unloading Parts
- Use of a Micrometer, Comparator, and Caliper to check parts
- Must have great attention to detail skills
- Good math skills are a must
- Previous machine operating experience
