New York Breast Health, a prominent and respected Breast Health group, is seeking a License Practical Nurse to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation. NYBH is the leading surgical oncology group specializing in diseases of the breast.
In this role you will:
- Give medication as prescribed by a Physician.
- Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature and weight.
- Administer injections of medication.
- Administer immunizations.
- Obtain patients medical histories.
- Enter information into EMR computer systems.
- Start IV’s after certification as well as phlebotomy.
We require:
- A Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York
- At least 1 year of working in a medical facility.
- Good computer knowledge.
- The ability to start IV’s helpful.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus.
- Compassionate patient care.
- Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to all locations as needed.
Salary up to $30 per hour.
