We seek an enthusiastic, self-motivated leasing agent at our new construction lease-up community, Beekman on Broadway, located in Ann Arbor (www.BeeekmanOnBroadway.com).

Beekman on Broadway is a 254-unit, new construction, mid-rise apartment community with a second phase of 286 units under construction which are anticipated to deliver late spring. Beekman on Broadway offers a great opportunity to work at a brand-new lease-up property with great commission potential. Phase II coming soon!

This opportunity requires a highly motivated leasing person with strong communication, sales, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate has an upbeat enthusiastic personality, is a team player, takes initiative, and is willing to work flexible hours to meet and exceed leasing objectives. The responsibilities of the leasing agent include, but are not limited to:

  • Lease apartments including fielding phone and internet leads, scheduling appointments, conducting prospect tours, application processing and lease execution
  • Demonstrate the ability to build rapport with prospects, create urgency, ask for the application, and close leases
  • Manage and maintain daily traffic logs, prospect database, and perform diligent follow-up with all leads
  • Conduct outreach marketing with the community and local real estate community, assist in social media marketing, and conduct other marketing related tasks as requested
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the competition and area market, conduct regular market surveys, and make recommendations
  • Effectively meet and exceed leasing, occupancy, and renewal goals
  • Assist with planning and hosting frequent resident events
  • Leasing administration from guest card through move-in
  • Ensure paperwork and files are complete, documents are executed properly, and resident ledgers are accurately updated
  • Physically walk and inspect the models, community amenities, and tour path daily
  • Process resident maintenance requests
  • Assist with the scheduling and coordination of move-ins/outs - conduct new home orientations
  • Provide excellent customer service to all residents and prospects
  • Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other pertinent laws
  • All other tasks as required by your supervisor

*Estimated compensation includes commission assumptions

Requirements:

  • Market rate leasing and new construction lease-up experience preferred but not required with relevant sales or customer service experience
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Must be willing to work both Saturdays and Sundays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
