East Cobb Tutoring Center in Marietta, GA strives to be a positive, relaxed environment in order for students to become confident learners and to achieve their academic goals. East Cobb Tutoring Center is currently hiring educators to tutor students in grades 6-12.

You'll be responsible for individual tutoring within your own content area at our office in East Cobb or using our virtual tutoring capabilities. Additional responsibilities at East Cobb Tutoring Center will include communicating with families and maintaining your schedule. You'll be eager to see your students find success while lowering their academic stress levels. You'll apply the skills you already have from working with students and will add to our multi-year reputation of being the "Best Tutoring Center in Georgia." You will be able to do what you love, on your schedule, while making extra money!

Schedule:

• Tutors make their own schedules and can work as many hours as they like. Weekday tutoring sessions take place between 3 and 8pm; Sunday sessions are scheduled throughout the day, but most sessions take place between noon and 5pm. Please note our time zone is EST.
• Tutors are asked to maintain the same schedule each week.
• All tutoring is one-on-one which allows students to build a rapport with their tutors and know what to expect.
• Virtual sessions are scheduled by the request of our clients.

Tutors are compensated bi-weekly as independent contractors (1099). If you are in the Metro Atlanta area, please take a look at where we are located to anticipate your potential commute. All applicants who reach a face-to-face interview will be asked to teach a short lesson over Zoom.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
