Middle River Aerostructure Systems is a world-leading manufacturer of engine nacelles and specialized aerostructures. It supplies and supports these products for engine makers, airplane manufacturers and aircraft operators. Job Summary:

This role involves supporting systems engineering management activities for development programs. It requires working with engineering team leaders, subject-matter experts, and customers to derive, document and manage the deliverable requirements and interface documents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Derive and allocate aircraft and/or propulsion requirements and specifications from customers to supplier requirements at the system, sub-system, component and vendor levels.
• Develop requirements in collaboration with customer, subject-matter experts and project managers
• Establish traceability to customer requirements and specifications.
• Validate all levels of supplier requirements against the customer requirements.
• Work with technical team leads and customers to define internal and external interfaces of the system and develop Interface Control Documents.
• Generate and refine the requirements and interface documents for customer acceptance.
• Identify impacts from customer requirement changes.

Manage interface and requirements documents

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Desired Characteristics:

• Strong analytical and technical report writing skills.
• Ability to pay attention to details and thoroughness with documentation.
• Ability to work with Integrated Product Teams and interact with customer.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience in requirements development/management processes or proficiency in tools like Jama or DOORS.
• Experience in Aerospace, Mechanical or Systems Engineering is preferred.
