Down Right Prints is looking for a Shipping Supervisor to oversee the shipping and receiving department. The role is a supervisory position requiring strong leadership skills, ability to prioritize, and a firm understanding of shipping protocols. The department is responsible for the receiving of blank clothing from our network of vendors throughout the day. The material must be counted in and prioritized for screen printing. Once the material is finished, it must be shipped out using our shipping platform.

The Shipping Supervisor will be solely responsible for and/or delegating:

• Organizing incoming boxes by Purchase Order #
• Delegating Purchase Orders to the Process Team (to be counted & staged)
• Analyzing discrepancies with the Production Department
• Double check process team’s work
• Assisting all aspects of the job and/or assisting other departments
• Approving and scheduling time sheets and approving employee time-off
• Participate in and conduct company/department weekly/daily meetings
• Generate and implement new ideas for workflow improvements
• Oversee specialty projects while delegating day-to-day
• Use our shipping platform to accurately label and track outgoing shipments

Requirements:

• Min. two years of leadership or relevant experience
• Min. two years of receiving, shipping, or relevant warehouse experience
• High School Degree or equivalent
• 1 - 2 References
• Cover Letter (highly recommended)
• Letter of recommendation (highly recommended)
