This position will be based in our HQ located in Ashburn, VA.


Jumpstart your career through Inside Sales at Telos, a fast growing “software as a service” (SaaS) company with the premiere cybersecurity solutions in the industry. If you have a desire for sales, a love for tech, and want to lay a strong foundation for a successful high-tech career, Telos is the place for you.


Your first 3-6 months: learn the Telos products and messaging, the tools to be successful, and the customer personas, as well as build relationships with your Inside, Field, Sales Engineer, and Channel counterparts. Gain experience and proficiency with industry-leading customer relationship management (CRM) tool and other enablement, research, and social platforms. Consistently meet goals for pitch development and qualifying leads.


6 – 18 months: continue to build your core skills and product/industry knowledge, understand how to meet or exceed your goals and maintain momentum, expand your Inside Sales skillset and effectiveness, as well as work with mentors to set promotion goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Qualify in-bound leads from marketing and phone/electronic correspondence, as well as provide customers with price quotes, non-technical information and assistance, and set appointments for sales and channel teams
  • Conduct out-bound call/email campaigns to generate new leads and appointments for sales
  • Research new market contacts for ideal customer profiles / target prospect accounts
  • Interface with vendors, customers and internal Telos organizations
  • Maintain procedures for reporting that govern the actions and activities of the sales organization (e.g. Salesforce, internal forecasting reports, quoting etc.)
  • Represent Telos and Telos’ solutions at events, trade shows and on sales calls.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Strong phone presence and comfort on the phone
  • Self-disciplined with ability to work independently
  • A demonstrated sense of urgency and persistence
  • MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using CRM tools a plus
  • Limited travel may be required
  • A 4-year college degree
  • The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access classified information, which requires US citizenship;
  • One year inside sales or phone prospecting experience preferred
