Neighborhood News is looking for a Sales Assistant who has a friendly and helpful nature, sales driven, and the ability to maintain a high level of customer service. We need someone that is a go-getter and wants to be a part of a growing business. The right candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining sales in their designated region. You will be helping customers purchase the right product by describing products, answering questions and providing recommendations.
Must be able to start in 2-3 weeks.
Requirements:
- Computer/Phone/Printer experience
- Heavy Over the Phone Sales & Some In-Person Sales
- Ability to work as a team with a family-oriented company.
- On time
- Some travel may be required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Make and Maintain Sales in their region.
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Converse with customers in person or by phone.
- Recommend products.
- Assist the Sales Manager as needed.
Hours & Pay
- Part-Time 20-25 hours a week (9am -3pm) w/ 1 hour lunch.
- $10/hr plus a 10% commission on the first issue ad sales.
- (Pay Review after proving yourself and your dedication to the company)
- This is an In-Person office position.
