Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner is seeking a Part Time Psychologist to join our team based in Escondido, CA. We are a growing organization dedicated to excellence, honesty and ethics in the treatment of our clients and each other. For more than 35 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

PAY: $46-$60 an hour based on education and experience

We are searching for a Part Time Clinical Psychologist to work primarily in our Residential Escondido program in Escondido, CA, providing individual and group therapy in a post-acute brain injury rehabilitation program, as well as cognitive/neuropsychological assessments to guide treatment planning. The psychologist also provides assessment and treatment for clients in our residential programs as referred. Clients are coping with various psychological issues including adjustment disorder, depression/anxiety, PTSD, family stressors, personality disorders, abuse and substance abuse histories. The psychologist is a member of the multidisciplinary team and works collaboratively with therapists, physicians, clients, families and funders to support client outcomes and program development; there is an opportunity to provide educational presentations and supervise psychology students.

• Education: Doctoral level Psychologist; experience with neurological disorders helpful
• Licensure: CA License
• Ability to lift (50) pounds unassisted
• Initial Health screening
• Initial and annual TB screening
• Criminal Record check and clearance
• Driving record check and clearance, as needed
• Current First aid and CPR (provided)
• Initial and Annual Health screening, including negative test results for tuberculosis, performed by or under the supervision of a physician not more than one year prior to or seven day after employment. Health screening will include person’s physical qualifications to perform duties to be assigned and presence of any health conditions that would create a hazard to the person, clients or other staff members. Personnel with evidence of physical illness that poses a threat to the health and safety of clients shall be relieved of their duties.
