Actively searching for a Production Line Operator in the Brattleboro, VT area. This is a full time, second shift position offering a starting wage of $18/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Stay current on all relative SOPs as well as expectations for quality of finished goods, safety, and capacity.
• Work as an integral member of production team to reduce set-up time, increase machine uptime, identify training needs, complete all data collection requirements, and ensure line opening and line closing are completed accurately to achieve expected team and individual performance results.
• Meet clear action plan career path objectives.
• Clean, set-up and operate equipment according to SOP as well as equipment ownership that requires daily assessment, cleaning, and requests for preventative maintenance.
• Assist line mechanics as needed to make machine improvements and replace parts in accordance to skill level and safe practices while thoroughly understanding all machine functions (i.e. proper set-up procedures, and develop trouble shooting skills).
• Have a good understanding of all primary packaging equipment and components as well as the computer interface and partake in daily rotations on the production lines as well as secondary screening, bottling and boxing rooms.
• Contribute continuous improvement ideas that provide process improvements, provide constructive contributions during team meetings.

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent
• Experience and demonstrated skills in production.
• Position requires excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to forward think for planning purposes.
• Proven manufacturing capabilities are desired.
• Highly motivated team player with a positive attitude.
• Intermediate computer skills. (Navision, Word, Excel, Email)
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that demands accuracy, strong contribution and ability to lift 25-40lbs and use of step ladders and standing for 90% of the time.
• Flexibility in schedule, including occasional mandatory overtime.
• Understanding of and experience in working within cGMP environment is beneficial.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 1:00pm - 11:30pm
