Optometry Front Desk Receptionist Job at Twelve Bridges Vision Care
Job description
Seeking professional, personable, friendly, courteous individual with a positive attitude and excellent communication and customer service skills for front desk. The front desk's role is critical, since it provides the first impression for patients coming to our office. Being able to respond to patients needs, as well as staff, in a professional, courteous and calm manner, is key. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required; knowledge of the optometry industry preferred, but will train.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, greeting patients with a smile, answering their questions, answering phones, faxing, scanning, scheduling appointments, verifying and obtaining insurance authorizations, maintaining patients' charts and communicating with outside doctors/medical offices. The front desk will also be trained in pretesting and rooming patients. Other responsibilities include light cleaning, keeping track of supplies and maintaining office equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks are recommended, but not required. Our practice maintains COVID protocol, disinfecting and wiping down all surfaces and exam rooms between patients. Also sanitizing frames after patients have tried them on.
