Job Summary
In this Multifamily Underwriter role, you will be responsible for analyzing, researching, developing key information, and providing time-sensitive conclusions and results throughout the entire process of underwriting a variety of Multifamily Loans (5+ units) for real estate investors, at the Company’s Greenville, South Carolina location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You must be capable, knowledgeable, and passionate about the Underwriting Process and its various aspects: Analysis, Credit, Communication etc. You must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with various internal and external stakeholders on a time-sensitive basis.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of Underwriting Multifamily and/or Commercial Real Estate Loans.
- Expert knowledge in mortgage lending processes and practices
- Passionate about being part of a team and contributing to a world class culture
- Strong communication skills, tact and diplomacy
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional work ethic, thriving in fluid, fast paced environments subject to change
- Detail-oriented, displaying a high degree of accuracy
- Customer-centric
- Ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines, not afraid of hard work and working long hours until the job is done and done right
- Able to contribute and work with various stakeholders and their priorities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Unwavering integrity and track record of doing the right thing for clients and company
- Exceptional experience working in partnership with operations and other teams toward common goals
- Local Candidates preferred
Prior Background Preferences:
- Fannie or Freddie agency underwriting experience
- Commercial Real Estate or Asset management with servicer bank or lender
- Analyst work at investment or brokerage firm
Manager: This position reports to the Director of Multifamily Operations
