Direct the Content and Communications strategy for GC America and lead the development of marketing content, internal and external communications with consistent, compelling, and data-driven messaging for all business units. This role will source, create, and provide communications content that engages with and educates audiences. Reports to the Director of Performance Marketing and works with stakeholders across marketing, sales, regulatory, legal affairs, clinical education, operations, and technology departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage customer communication and provide expertise across all business units, aligned with Performance Marketing Strategy and Product Management strategies, to shape digital and traditional marketing strategies.
  • Develop communication content which supports the product positioning and helps to differentiate from the competition.
  • Identify the most effective communication channels to target to relevant audiences and feed these channels with the impactful messaging for new product launches and existing product promotion campaigns to increase lead generation.
  • Work with the Creative team to develop marketing collateral including print brochures, flyers, ads, press releases, web copy, social media content, video, email promotions, blogs, articles, company & product presentations etc. to deliver consistent messaging on the identified channels.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing team to leverage and optimize websites, digital campaigns, and social media planning to increase brand awareness and conversion.
  • Communicate expectations, provide direction, and provide performance feedback to the Content and Communications Team.
  • Develop and manage the internal communication via company portal and quarterly newsletters.
  • Work with the Professional Relations Team to support content generation from Thought Leaders in the industry.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all business units and related communication vehicles (i.e. digital marketing, social media, educational events, industry conferences and tradeshows).
  • Manage Media Relations, support Corporate Social Responsibility activities and relevant corporate and industry relationships.
  • Uphold the principles and practices of the GQM business management system, including QC Thinking, Kaizen Innovation, and the corporate philosophy of GC no Kokoro.
  • Participate in regulatory compliance activities related to the job function, including quality audits, adverse event reporting for company products, and adherence to Good Documentation Practices for reporting and record keeping.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Management, or a related field.

Experience and/or Training

  • 3 years of related experience in Content and Communication Management
  • Strong project planning and management skills
  • Strong organization skills to handle multiple projects at once
  • Solid understanding of SEO, Email, Website and Social Media Content Best Practices
  • Solid PR and media management skills
  • Familiarity with insource/outsource models and agency management practices
  • Proven track record of managing inbound and outbound campaigns across digital channels
  • Highly organized, proactive, strong multi-tasking skills with accuracy and sense of urgency
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), CRM (Salesforce preferred);

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • MBA with Specialization in Marketing

Experience and/or Training

  • 5+ years of related experience in Digital Marketing and/or Demand Generation
  • Content Management, Digital Marketing and/or Demand Generation
  • Preferred Experience with tools such as Marketo, Google Analytics, Social Media management tools (Hootsuite), Project Management tools (Asana).
