Daily Tasks:

• Calculate the amount of product needed for lawn and landscape applications. Mix products according to label.
• Drive company vehicles to and from the office and residences located in Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, and various other counties in TN.
• Safely and accurately apply products to landscapes.
• Record chemical usage electronically.
• Monitor the condition of lawns and landscapes, diagnose any problems and report findings to superiors and/or homeowners when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• 18 Years of age or older
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Valid Driver’s license
• Excellent attendance
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 70 pounds. Walk, crawl, kneel and use your hands daily.
• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
• Reasonable understanding of electronic devices and how to use them.
• Safe and proper operation of company vehicles and equipment, adhering to company safety standards.
• Perform work in a timely manner.
• Responsible for daily record keeping according to state requirements.

Standards for experienced technicians:

• C03 Certified in the state of Tennessee
• 1-3 years’ experience
• Apply and mix fertilizers and pesticides according to label instructions.
• Operation of Zero turn sprayers and/or common plant health application methods. -
• Identification of common plants and turf types in Middle Tennessee
• Ability to identify common pests present in Tennessee and administer treatment
• Willingness to mentor new employees to foster a successful and welcoming work environment
