Journeyman Electrician
SUMMARY
Due to record-breaking growth, we are urgently seeking experienced Electricians with solar experience, to fill a variety of solar and battery installation and service positions.
The Electrician position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical components of residential and/or commercial solar PV and battery installation projects. Ideal candidates will have active Journeyman or Master Electrician certification in the state of California.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Troubleshoot and repair all aspects of PV systems including:
- Installation of electrical equipment
- Service panel upgrades
- Circuit relocations
- Battery systems
- Electric vehicle charger outlets
- Solar PV inverters
- Commission new PV systems
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure compliance with current NEC and local codes
- Report field findings to management in a timely manner
- Work with management to enhance internal training programs
- Assist construction manager and installation teams as needed
- Communicate relevant information to customers in a polite and timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Journeyman or Master Electrician’s certification required
- Solar experience preferred
- PowerWall, LG Chem, or other battery storage experience highly desired
- Be able to work independently and as a team
- Must be comfortable using ladders
- Clean CA driver’s license required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Basic computer proficiency required
- Previous experience utilizing power and hand tools required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
