The duties of a Teller include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining an acceptable balancing record with all negotiable items on a daily basis-including cash, checks, and other negotiable items
- Using the member's name at least three times during every transaction-maintaining attentiveness and responsiveness to member traffic, while maintaining efficiency
- Meeting the monthly requirements on the number of transactions processed
- Meeting the monthly minimum requirement for credit union products and services cross-sold each month-possessing the necessary product knowledge to help match a product or service with the member's needs
- Displaying good decision-making skills with respect to policies and guidelines-presenting the credit union's perspective with regard to policies and procedures, in a positive and accurate manner
- Participating in all in-house training offered to staff, and showing enthusiasm towards learning
- Attending all required security training, and staying up-to-date on all branch security matters
