FORT MYERS, FL (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED) - Down-to-earth entrepreneurs looking for a reliable, professional and intelligent FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY M-F 9:30AM-6:30PM for her two children (3-year-old boy and 1-year-old girl)! Pay is $25-40/hr + PTO + nanny vehicle provided while on the job. Must be a safe driver! Their 3-year-old son is very loving and energetic, he is a sweet and kind little man who soaks up the world like a sponge. Their 1-year-old wants to keep up with her brother, she is loving and great at keeping to her schedule. They live in a gated community that has a playground and swimming pool. They have a golf cart to get the kids to and from the recreation areas as well as just to drive around and have fun exploring. It is a safe area with sidewalks and great areas to explore with friendly neighbors. They have one older shih-tzu so must love dogs! You will be responsible for all childcare related duties but also pitching in for the family overall (cooking and laundry in particular). They are seeking someone who understands childhood development and can meet their children where they are developmentally. Someone who is trustworthy, loving and nurturing to their children is imperative! They have a large business with over 500 employees, but this position is the most important of all. They rely on you with their children and are looking for someone who really enjoys their family and being a nanny as a career overall. Someone with a teaching background and or Child Development/ Early Education experience is preferred! Flexibility is always a plus, but not required. They do travel on occasion and would love to find someone who enjoys to travel as well, but not required. They are a very easy going and fun family, and they value letting their children lead and explore. They think of the role as parents and caregivers is to of course facilitate safety, but also foster a strong bond with their children. This nanny will be an extension of them as parents when they are unable to be with them so finding someone with similar values and styles is paramount. They believe in letting children explore, grow and try things out. They focus on a positive parenting approach to raising and disciplining their children. They like to encourage imaginative play and would love someone who has ideas on how they can always play to their children's interests. Vaccinations not required.

Qualifications:
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study
CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
A passion for working with children
Two+ years childcare experience
Excellent work and personal references
U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)
Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus
Competent swimmer
Non-smoker
Willing to go through extensive Background Check
Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident
Willingness to show proof of immunizations
No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
