Responsibilities of the Warehouse Workers: Employees’ responsibility will mainly be to work on sanding/staining wood doors. Doors are laid flat and each door is sanded with a handheld sander. Doors are then marked where any modifications need to be made. After sanding, the doors are then moved to the staining room. Each door is taped off and stained according to order. This will be their main responsibility for a couple of weeks. After some time, they may move up to building frames. They will utilize a brad nailer to build each frame.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Ongoing physical activity (frequent bending, standing, and lifting)
Main duties include: sanding, prepping, and staining wood, and doors. Frequent cleaning of the warehouse frames. Cleaning & preparing wood surfaces, including taping and masking off areas.
Qualifications: Basic carpentry knowledge and/or skills. Ability to stand for long. The ability to work proficiently, with or without supervision. Ability to use a tape measure. Basic hand tool knowledge (specifically handheld sander, brad nailer) Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Perks: They provide coolers full of Gatorade and water. They can listen to music while working. The warehouse isn’t open air but isn’t climate controlled. Temp to hire process is 480 hours.
