US Human Capital Manager - Philadelphia, PA
Overall Mission
CRYOPDP supports the clinical research community by providing premium tailored time-critical and temperature-controlled solutions for the global transportation of products and samples.
We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and analytical team player to join our US team in our new Philadelphia, PA location.
Reporting to the VP, Global Human Capital, the US Human Capital Manager is responsible for rolling out the HR strategy, in order to support the overall growth business plan and strategic direction of CRYOPDP in all branches in USA, specifically in the areas of talent acquisition, talent management change management, organizational and performance management, training and development and compensation.
Primary Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Be responsible for the hiring plan follow up in line with the budget
- Ensure a great onboarding journey for everyone, ensuring that everything is in place for the integration the first day (computer, phone, induction plan written by the manager)
- Support the management in the Job description elaboration
- Participate actively in all recruitment processes
- Update the Hiring follow up report
Talent Management
- Set and apply appropriate HR objectives and hold leaders accountable for achieving these with the OKR’s methodology
- Work closely with management and team members globally to improve relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Rolls key programs and initiatives to optimize CRYOPDP human resource function and drive exceptional business results
- Manage and report on performance process within the organization
- Roll out a continuous education culture within the organization finding the right balance between collective needs and individual consideration
- Promote new ideas for improving the employee’s well being
- Be the go to person for all HR matter in the US
- Be part of the global HR team and participate to the HR meetings
HR Frameworks, Tools and Data Analytics
- Guarantee workday is up to date with accurate information, in line with Cryoport Group guidance
- Execute local HR processes according to the global HR practices & culture , being able to find the right balance between a corporate top down approach and local specificities
- Ensure that USA branches share the same values, principles of CRYOPDP, while taking into consideration local culture if needed
- Participate to the HR budget for supporting the US business growth
- Be responsible for the US HR budget follow up and update
- Manage all the HR staff reports
Payroll & Benefits & Administrative
- Be responsible for the accuracy of the personal HR files
- Supervise the payroll of the US team
- Manage the HR partners (payroll, health insurance, 401K…)
- Be responsible for the pay rise & bonus programs
- Manage Statutory insurance (DBL/PFL) and other related Compliance requirements by State
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- 5-10 years' of experience working in Human Resources managerial positions - Masters degree in HR management or similar preferred
- Working knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, including NJ and CA + benefits regulations
- Strong in payroll processing and management
- Ability to understand Regulatory and Quality management items
- Strong technical skills with a good understanding of Microsoft Word & Excel & the ability to learn new software programs and HRIS
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
