Recruit Secure is collaborating with a beautiful, and highly rated Skilled Nursing Home in Philadelphia, PA that is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager for direct hire for thr 7-3 shift. The Unit Manager will be responsible for directing the nursing staff and overall operations of the assigned Nursing Unit. Additionally, the Unit manager supports the Director of Nursing in achieving a high level of patient care and supports the patients, families, and staff. The successful candidate will have experience as an RN in a Skilled Nursing Home and has successfully mentored and supervised staff, interacted with all levels of interdisciplinary teams and Physicians, and is familiar with DOH regulations We are seeking a caring, compassionate, and kind professional, interested in growing their career. Responsibilities:
- The Unit Manager handles all supervisory duties for the unit.
- Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures.
- Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical & career advice.
- Maintain the standards of care for the unit.
- Review of Resident records & quality of care.
- Monitor overall care & review individual Residents' cases
- Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families.
- Represent the unit's interests with upper-level management.
- Minimum 2 years Long Term Care Experience
- At least 1 year of Charge Nurse or Supervisory experience
- Must hold a valid PA RN License
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
