Compensation

This position comes with a $2,500 per month base salary ($30,000 per year).

Responsibilities

First and foremost, this is an Online Tutoring position. We will put you through our world-class training to help you become one of our world-class tutors. This is a student-centric job because students are our heroes, and we do everything we can to support their academic growth.

You will also work directly with the NetTutor management team, tutors, and students to help us provide efficient and quality tutoring 24 hours a day, every day of the year. This includes monitoring the tutoring queues to ensure low student wait times, calling in extra staff to cover the queue when there are unexpected spikes in demand, and assisting with tracking tutor schedules and monitoring attendance.

You also get to assist and mentor tutors with their goals and productivity, providing assistance if goals are not being met.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as an online tutor or a tutor/supervisor in a tutoring/learning center
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to work from our office in Tampa, Florida or Tempe, Arizona
• Need to be smart and can think on your feet
• Self-starter, motivated, team oriented, curious
• Ability to teach yourself new things
• Ability to multi-task
• Goal oriented, takes pride in your work
