*EXPERIENCE IN ACCOUNTING & REPORTING IS REQUIRED

Balances company bank accounts to payments posted to patient accounts using various third-party systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Run monthly bank and billing reports
• Complete monthly reconciliation of bank deposits received to payments posted in Athena
• Correct variances by researching other billing systems, creating cases within Athena, and assistance from other USACS (RCM) Depts
• Reconcile and balance Third Party Billing companies
• Verify NSF notices from banks to postings on patient claims in Athena
• Review annual 1099s
• Backup Cash Management during Month-end Close, PTO or other as neededDownload daily banking activity into Excel

Prepare and distribute daily cash reportsRecord daily cash receipts in GLRecord daily cash journal entries

• Performs other assignments and duties as neededKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Intermediate or Advanced user in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Demonstrates leadership skills
• Ability to perform/complete tasks with minimal help
• Workday experience is preferred
• Athena experience is preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

​EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Associate degree in business or accounting preferred
• 3+ years of accounting, cash management or treasury
• Experience in banking operations preferred
• Strong ability to pay close attention to detail and dollar amounts
• Ability to work overtime and put forth extra effort when needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 15 pounds.
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform job
