PURPOSE
To improve student achievement by transporting students to and from school and school related activities and non-profit organizations. Drivers who serve as standby drivers, to assist other drivers and support personnel as needed.

Type: Classified
Hours: Most Drivers depart approximately 6:00 a.m. and return about 9:30 a.m. and depart again approximately 1:30 p.m. and return around 5:00 p.m. in the afternoon. Number of hours per day: Big Bus 4-6 hours per day / Small Bus 6-8 hours per day

Starting substitute and training wage: $20.05/hour (subject to change) Permanent positions range from $20.05 to $25.58 dependent on length of employment with the district and previous school bus driving experience.

No experience required - paid training will be provided. Position requires a fairly clean driving record within the past three years. Please obtain a court certified copy of your driving record from the DMV for $3.00 (Type of record - CP CERTIFIED COURT PRINT, please follow the link to fill out the form https://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/Forms/DMV/7266fill.PDF ). If you have lived outside the state of Oregon within the past 3 years, please obtain both an Oregon DMV record and a DMV record from the state where you previously resided. Attach these records in the “Documents” section of your application. Assistance completing the application and uploading documents is provided if needed.
