Transport Driver/Registrar is responsible for aiding in COVID-19 Vaccine & Testing Mobile Clinics. Below is a list of the most essential responsibilities.

Transport Team

• Reports to Montebello Office (1300 for Van pick up and/or 3317 HUB for vaccine pick up)
• Identifies what designated supplies (coolers, totes, electronics, etc) will be allocated to the designated vehicle that will be in use.
• Double check all allocated supplies are accounted for.
• Verifies vehicle is in good condition, documents mileage and fuel level.
• Load all supplies and vaccines to vehicle and deliver to designated mobile clinic(s) in a timely manner.
• End of clinic: Load all supplies and vaccines to vehicle from mobile clinic(s) and return to Montebello Headquarters.
• Document condition of vehicle, mileage and fuel level.

Physical Demands:

• Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
• Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for moving from one work area to another.
• Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm.
• Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
• Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
• Stooping to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.

Other:

• Registers patients into vaccine system, collects insurance and ID Cards for billing purposes.
• Demonstrates effective communication methods and skills, utilizing appropriate reporting structures.
• Formulates positive working relationships with all health care customers and employees.
• Alerts appropriate personnel for safety, fire, and other unsafe situations. Reports any unusual occurrences to supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
