Our logistics company based in the Savannah, GA area seeking the new role of Terminal Manager. The Company is rapidly growing and is looking to fill this new role to better oversee its Savannah Facility. The Company operates in many ports around the US and Canada. The Company primarily services the retail industry.

The Company’s leadership is looking for a “Hand’s-On Doer” who can set standards, identify for productivity improvement and build a strong team. The right fit will be extremely organized, have a keen attention to detail and the flexibility to work with different aspects of a business.

The position of Terminal Manager is primarily responsible for the full spectrum of warehouse management related to the receipt, put away, and dispatch of goods/containers coming in and out of the warehouse. Specific duties include:

· Create processes and procedures that follow Triangle SC Quality Policy

· Must have a customer first mentality

· Knowledge of the safety requirements for employee health and safety

. Ability to handle multiple customer accounts

. Must have strong multi-tasking ability working in a fast pased environment.

keep track of containers inbound and outbound from the warehouse.

· Understand the warehouse cycle process flow and find ways to make each department more efficient through continuous improvement

· Provide proper instruction to supervisor/associates to ensure that training, safety, quality and personnel needs are met in accordance with company policies and procedures

· Maintain continuous cycle count operation to monitor the accuracy and efficiency of inventory record system

· Monitor the ongoing maintenance and service of all vehicles in the warehouse

· Interface with necessary departments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of products and to resolve discrepancies

· Understand all functions and departmental duties

· Continuously check employee work and provide feedback as needed

· Must be flexible to the ever-changing needs of the operation

· Must be able to work with and process many different situations at any given time by prioritizing them and efficiently resolving each in a timely manner

· Recommend solutions to reduce spending

· Coordinate with Management and Human Resources regarding necessary workplace training

· Use the hiring process to create and grow a central warehouse team

· Provide periodic reports to upper management regarding operations, needs, and changes occurring within the warehouse

· Promote positive work relationships with all employees and communicate company policies effectively
