Tech Support - Night Shift

Who We Are

CPT Network Solutions is the technical project management specialist. We oversee technical projects for installation, repair, and maintenance for Fortune 500 companies in retail, hospitality, healthcare, and finance. From installing phone systems, to setting up cash registers, to repairing sound systems, and more, we provide exceptional customer service in everything we do.

This Role

Our Night Support team members are responsible for supporting field technicians with the completion of scope of work, break/fix diagnostics, and on-site job close-outs. This person oversees techs in the field as they work on installation/repair projects for our customers. We troubleshoot all kinds of equipment: POS systems/switches/routers/networks/etc. As with all our roles, our Tech Support team members provide excellent customer service.

Must-Haves (Basic Qualifications)

• Excellent customer service; a real commitment to serving the customer (+technician)
• Strong desire to help, with a knack for problem solving
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Team player and sharer of knowledge
• Great communicator: both verbal and written
• Basic knowledge in telecom/network services (phones, printers, point of sale, etc)
• Willingness and ability to learn all kinds of technology

Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications)

• Field experience with commercial structured cabling
• BICSI/Comptia or other industry certification
• Two+ years of customer service experience
• Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in related field

Location, location, location

Our Maitland, Florida office is conveniently located near I-4 and SR 414. Small yet delightful, we offer a friendly, casual, and hard-working environment. Just 15 minutes from downtown Orlando, we are close to great restaurants and to great restaurants and recreation centers.

Schedule

After the initial training (held during the day, M-F 10am-7pm Est), Night Support team members move to the standard night shift which covers customer needs between 9pm-9am Eastern Sunday through Thursday. Start times vary, as they are staggered through the night.
