Technical Recruiter to be responsible for the full life cycle recruiting and onboarding of technical specialists and various internal overhead positions. The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting, screening, and onboarding technical specialists by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). You should be focused, hard-working, and able to meet deadlines to the satisfaction of all parties involved.

Responsibilities include but may not limited to (Duties may vary by assignment or contract):
- Partners and communicates with hiring manager or account manager to identify staffing needs and the technical requirements for those jobs.
- Assists with writing job descriptions and posting to relevant media platforms.
- Screens applicants for competency with the job requirements, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer appropriate assessments, and make recommendations for hire (or not hire).
- Keep up to date with latest industry trends to ensure candidates can be evaluated against industry standard assessments.
- Manages and keeps track of all applicant’s activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as well as keeping applicants informed on the application process.
- Performs background and reference checks and delivers employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings.
- Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e., benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.).
- Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as career fairs, on-line job fairs, community network events, etc.
- Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
- Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
- Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.
- Maintains membership and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry.
- Assists in the new hire onboarding process to include tax forms, I-9 forms, and other onboarding documents.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 - 5 years Technical Recruiting experience in the IT industry
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g., phone, Microsoft teams meeting, etc.)
- Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in government and/or defense contracting
- Experience working with the JazzHR Applicant Tracking System
- Basic knowledge of business intelligence and data analytics tools
