Positions:

Mornings or Afternoons

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years or older and
• High School Diploma or GED or in process obtaining, or

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of the care and education for the children enrolled in his/her class
• Ensure the safety of each child enrolled in the class in all areas of the facility
• Assist in regular observation and evaluation of children's development and progress as directed by administration
• Assist with development and implementation of an age appropriate curriculum
• Facilitate and support relationships with director, co-workers, parents and students
• Assist in maintaining/updating student portfolios
• Follow weekly lesson plans and goals
• Assist in maintaining responsibility on a daily basis for the arrangement, appearance, decor and cleanliness of the learning environment
• Serve as a role model for the children
• Communicate with parents through daily reports and monthly newsletters
