DWD CPAs & Advisors has been in business since 1939 and provides accounting, assurance and tax services to individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. We serve clients throughout Indiana from our offices in Fort Wayne and Marion. DWD employs 75 dedicated, hardworking individuals and we are looking to add an experienced Tax Manager to our dynamic team!
Core Responsibilities:
The Tax Manager will be responsible for serving clients in a variety of industries. This position offers excellent opportunities for advancement and includes the following responsibilities:
- Providing excellent client service by maintaining client contact through the planning, research, and tax return preparation process.
- Identify and implement tax planning and consulting opportunities/strategies
- Oversee complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries
- Communicating tax reporting and compliance changes within the firm
- Coach and develop teammates
A qualified person should have the following skills:
- CPA License
- 7+ Years of recent public accounting experience
- Experience with pass-through entities, partnerships, corporations and high net-worth individuals/ families
- Research the implications of tax laws and advise clients on tax related issues
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of UltraTax, CS Fixed Assets, tax research software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must possess excellent project management, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
