In our e-commerce business, Tatte at Home, packing team members are responsible for carefully preparing products for shipment, including the overall presentation of our product and brand to specification and ensuring that products are correctly processed and labeled for shipping. They must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and work in a clean and efficient manner so that all product is accounted for and packed correctly for each client. Products must be prepared and shipped in a timely manner, while also maintaining and protecting the quality of our products. In addition, these team members may actively participate in assembling product assortments, organizing and preparing the Tatte at Home inventory of supplies, and periodically tallying shipping supplies for the General Manager.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Prepare products for shipment according to packaging specifications
• Affix mailing labels to boxed up orders
• Must be team-oriented and have a can-do attitude
• Consistent and reliable attendance, especially during upcoming Holidays
• Must be able to understand and speak basic English
• Constant standing/walking
• Occasional stooping or kneeling
• Continuous pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying of up 5-7 lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs
• Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s)
• Must be able to perform basic math (ability to count and add)
• Must be able to work in 40 degrees Fahrenheit environment intermittently during an 8 hour shift
• Be able to work together and communicate well with team members
• Other duties as assigned
