Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a System Engineer located at Gunter AFB in Montgomery, AL. The System Engineer will provide systems engineering support to the HNII Enterprise Cloud Services Branch on the Air Force’s Cloud One infrastructure program. The Cloud One program implementation is undergoing enormous customer growth, to include an increase in cloud security Impact Levels and the services required to sustain them.
LOCATION: Gunter AFB
JOB STATUS: Fulltime
TRAVEL: Occasional CONUS travel is required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud
SECURITY CLEARANCE:
- Secret
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of engineering experience of which (3) must be in the DoD, or 15 years of directly related engineering experience, (5) of which must be in the DoD.
CERTIFICATIONS:
- No required certifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and conduct systems engineering, engineering analyses, trade studies and feasibility assessments in support of systems engineering activities
- Perform program reviews to evaluate alternative proposed plans, systems engineering programs, design and test results to assure that required subsystem and system performance is achieved
- Participate in system design and architecture development of tactical datalink communication systems
- Prepare technical documents which define, specify, and recommend system/subsystem characteristics
- Review and provide technical comments on specifications and interface documents
- Conduct technical investigations in systems design
- Provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with AF SEAM processes
