Duncan Oil company is a family-owned business located in southwest Ohio. We currently operate a chain of convenience stores around the area and are hiring for our RoadDog store in Moraine, OH! Duncan Oil strives to create an atmosphere that fosters team chemistry as well as personal growth. We are very flexible with our shifts and can accommodate part or full-time availability. Being the face of our company, the RoadDog Store Associate is absolutely vital to our business success. You are responsible for the sale of fuel and other in-store merchandise, processing transactions at the point of sale, and assisting in the overall operations at the store providing the best customer service as a priority.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure each customer receives excellent customer service by greeting and acknowledging each customer
• Provide customers with a quick and efficient check-out experience
• Process and handle monetary transactions including cash, check, gift card, credit/debit card, etc.
• Follow all city, county, and state regulations and procedures regarding the transactions of tobacco products, lottery tickets, and alcohol
• Assist customers with all questions and concerns
• Maintain adequate stock levels of merchandise restocking as needed
• Assist with general store operations as needed by the store manager including maintaining store cleanliness and overall security of the facility

• Operating a cash register handling cash at high levels of accuracy
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers of varying levels of demeanor
• Ability to assess a situation and make a logical decision
• Awareness to look at a store and understand what needs to be accomplished
• Quality personality, we want to build a team that enjoys spending time with one another
• Be a team player, have a positive attitude, and have a good work ethic.
