Eaton’s CPDI Division is currently seeking a Stockroom Associate on 1st shift to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina.

  • Pay: $17/hour

Position Overview:

The Stockroom Associate will support the Materials team in performing a variety of duties to ensure the accuracy of the inventory counts and transactions.

In this position you will:

  • Take physical counts of predetermined parts and reconcile inventory records, enter cycle counts and adjustments for reconciliation
  • Perform visual inspection of all parts and daily filing of all working documents after parts have been stocked
  • Pull parts from inventory, maintain proper counts, and pull picking lists. Deliver material to departments as needed
  • Receive, identify, and manage store and issuance of materials in the stockroom, in accordance with inventory processes and audit all material movements to conformance of prescribed procedures
  • Act as an assistant in the shipping and receiving departments; support shipment processing and receiving of incoming materials
  • Perform housekeeping (5S+) daily to maintain stock storage area and ensure most effective utilization of stockroom
  • Support the weekly cycle count program for all of RPO’s inventory.
  • Assume a leading role in the annual physical inventory
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a stockroom or warehouse or material analysis environment with Enterprise Resource Planning experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of Raleigh, North Carolina will be considered.

Position Criteria:

  • MS Office Applications Proficiency with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime when needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive forklifts including man up lifts
  • Strong written and oral communications and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
  • Ability to stand or bend frequently
  • Must have good visual accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience with SAP in manufacturing environment
  • Strong Knowledge of warehousing and manufacturing practices and processes
  • Forklift experience
