Overview:
The Content Strategy & Programming team manages the digital brand health of all Paramount+ programming and its content across the service. We connect various cross-functional teams including production, product, PR, distribution, social, creative and marketing teams to protect and project the essence of our programming across consumer touchpoints, in addition to partnering with third-party platforms and producers to enhance our digital products and services. Additionally the team works together with Content Management to onboard the programming, while working closely with all key partners in the scheduling and editorial merchandising of the content in service.

Our team is looking for a Senior Manager who will lead all aspects of content planning and scheduling for Music vertical within Paramount+ for Original Series and other content created for or acquired/licensed for the service, including managing brands partnerships with ViacomCBS’ brands such as MTV. The candidate will work closely across divisions to deliver innovative creative materials and initiatives crafted to support music Original Series and brand programming. The Manager will also serve as the brand ambassador for music related Original and Library Series in their representation across digital platforms including web, mobile, apps, social media and OTT!

Responsibilities:
Monitor and project manage onboarding/integration of music content into Paramount+
Support content placement decisions across Paramount+ platform (homepage, show pages, brand pages, collections, etc).
Liaise with the Operations team regarding the ingest of music content within the service and on Digital/Social platforms
Align with the Product team on the implementation of in-service enhancements
Work with Sales and Integrated Marketing teams to package and implement sponsored features tied to shows
Align with the P+ teams and external partners (i.e. MTV Music, Sony Music Entertainment, etc) across planning of all logistics and promotional activity of the content.
Assist in providing creative direction and guidance on messaging and/or content strategy across mediums by working closely with multi-disciplinary teams (Creative, Marketing, Social, PR, Video Operations, Curation).
Continually review and monitor data and analytics for music content and shift programming strategies as needed in an effort to drive increased engagement
Manage the asset lifecycle of content and interactive features for assigned shows
Support in analyzing and communicating music in-season and library content important metrics back to brand partners in coordination with Marketing
Additional curation in collaboration with brand counterparts (ie. MTVE, Documentaries/series, Movies etc)
Obtain necessary approvals and clearances to implement promotional and/or content plans
Participate in show support brainstorms with key partners and teams internally
Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 4+ years in a strategic marketing, planning or content development role for streaming services, television, feature film or interactive media
Bachelor's Degree in related field
Proven success collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage complex projects across diverse groups or organizations
Subscription VOD service experience
You are motivated, disciplined, flexible, and be able to work effectively both in groups as well as autonomously
Excellent multi-tasking and project management skills with strong attention to detail
A self-starter who can balance multiple tasks with limited support staff
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills

Additional Qualifications:
Background with music label, production, and/or agency
Ability to interact with television production and executive level personnel
Diverse experience and skills across creative, project management, product and data/metrics
Experience using Asana, Jira, project management tools
Comfort managing various projects at once in a fast paced environment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $110,000.00 - 125,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
