The Inventory & Leadership Performance Insights team within the Device & Supply Chain organization provides leadership reporting and analysis to guide strategy and decision making. The Sr. Business Analysis Manager in the Leadership Insights team is a highly skilled and driven individual contributor with direct accountability for overseeing and producing weekly reporting and analytical deep dives in support of the Device & Supply Chain organization. This is a highly visible role that requires deep business understanding and attention to detail. This person will require strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to quickly build a deep understanding of enterprise database structure and design, strong understanding of the business context surrounding data and analysis, and strategic thinking to create the most effective solution to meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce and enhance weekly and monthly recurring leadership reporting.
  • Gather complex data inputs from multiple sources, both internally and externally. Identify new data sources that will enhance business outcomes and support strategic and tactical objectives. Provide insight and guidance to leadership on the trends and drivers behind the results and prepare reports on findings.
  • Assesses the needs of the business, prioritize projects and drive new reporting requirements to completion. Work cross-functionally as needed to enable data architecture and solutions that best meet the analytics and reporting needs of the business. Drive clarity or requirements and ensure delivery meets agreed upon requirements.
  • Identify and communicate key insights to leadership team based on reports and analysis
  • Work cross functionally in order to proactively and systematically identify and implement any enhancements to reporting and analytics processes
  • Regularly assumes project/initiative responsibility
  • Complete complex ad-hoc research, analysis, and reporting. Serves as a subject-matter expert on the team.
  • Provides guidance to more junior employees. Serve as Manager’s proxy in his/her absence.
  • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years’ experience mining data and developing / designing reports using a variety of reporting/analytics software packages with an aptitude for learning new reporting software packages
  • Exceptional technical and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively and develop new solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities & deliverables in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment
  • Superior organizational, problem solving, and analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage multiple priorities
  • Able to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Able to write complex SQL using a variety of User Interfaces and SQL syntaxes (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Teradata SQL Assistant, Snowflake SQL Editor)
  • Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, graphing, data connections, automation using macros and VBA)
  • Ability to perform data investigation (e.g., data source identification, feasibility of joins, determine data reasonableness based on business insights)
  • Perseveres to locate necessary data and identify creative solutions to enable project completion, overcoming (at times) insufficient documentation and “tribal knowledge” environment
  • Strong business acumen and sufficient Financial Accounting knowledge to be able to understand impact on P&L from reporting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Consistently delivers high quality timely work resulting in highly satisfied customers
  • Ability to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources

  • Wireless industry background strongly preferred

T-Mobile's Commitment

Washington Pay Range : $122,600.00 - $165,900.00

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
