Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a Snow Groomer to join our team at Nova Guides at Camp Hale in Red Cliff, Colorado. As a Snow Groomer, you will be responsible for operating heavy construction equipment and now grooming equipment with attachments.

*Responsibilities*
*

• Operate all machine functions, such as blade controls, rear implement controls and steering.
• Minimize down time through basic preventative maintenance, cleanliness and up-keep of machine.
• Cover rocks and obstacles on the slopes; move snow from low wear areas to high wear areas.
• Communicate with shop mechanics concerning mechanical problems.
• Execute daily work instructions from the operations manager and general manager.
• Work as part of a team.

Qualifications*
*

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year grooming with Snowcat operation experience.
• Equipment operation background and experience with diesel engine hydraulic machines.
• Ski and snowmobile trail grooming experience.
• Intermediate knowledge and troubleshooting skills of grooming equipment.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.

Physical Requirements*

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme winter cold and blizzard conditions.
• Exposure to moderate noise levels
• Exposure to azards such as mechanical, electrical, fumes, odors, dusts, gases.
