Leidos is seeking a Small Business Marketing Intern in Reston, VA.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Leidos has a job opening for Small Business Marketing Intern the Washington, DC Metro Area (Reston, VA). This is an exciting opportunity to learn and gain experience developing new marketing strategies, engaging marketing collateral, communications planning, small business trade fair and virtual symposium development and planning for both the commercial and federal marketplace. The Small Business Marketing Intern performs a variety tasks within the organization during vacations and short-term breaks from college attendance while enrolled in an accredited degree program.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support with the creation and development of digital and print marketing campaigns and materials along with communication strategies to identify and attract small business partners in niche areas to support Leidos’ commitment to increased SB engagement. May require guided collaborations with key stakeholders in Marketing and a variety of functional areas supported by the Leidos Small Business Supplier Diversity Program.
There will also be opportunities to work special projects with multi-functional teams. The most successful candidates will have a desire to be a part of a team, enjoy hard work and learning on the job from a team of other talented professionals.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Corporate Social Responsibility, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Admin, Finance or related field.
- Excellent computer skills (excel/pivot tables, MS Word and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of html, CSS, and web development a plus
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- The ability to work under tough time constraints.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- 3.0 GPA.
- Candidates local to the area.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $36,400.00 - $56,000.00 - $75,600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
