A top-performing Honda dealership, Tonkin Gresham Honda, is hiring a Shop Foreman to join our service department! Our management team is full of seasoned veterans and Tonkin Gresham Honda is an employee-focused company. Working as our Shop Foreman, you would be ensuring that repairs are performed correctly and efficiently by qualified technicians and working with the Fixed Operations Director to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in the service department. The ideal candidate would have prior shop foreman experience at an import dealership with strong industry knowledge.

Shop Foreman Job Responsibilities

• Assists technicians with repairs/inspections and career development.
• Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
• Ensures that all department employees receive appropriate manufacturer training.
• Conducts regular performance reviews for all technicians.
• Provides technical support for technicians when necessary.
• Ensures repairs are charged out correctly.
• Check the progress of each repair order throughout the day.
• Monitors shop conditions, including cleanliness, safety, and the condition of shop equipment. Reports problems to the service manager or dealer.
• Ensures the proper care, storage, and inventory of company tools.
• Maintains a safe work environment.

Shop Foreman Qualifications

• Prior experience as a shop foreman at an import dealership is strongly preferred.
• Honda Certifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen – THC not included in the screening.
