Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Johnston, RI location.

Duties: Design, modify, develop and implement technology solutions; building modern, architecturally sound components, tools and applications to meet mission-driven strategic business goals. Participate in an environment rapidly transforming to the Agile methodology, adhering to best practices and collaborating effectively with your team members. Infuse quality of service characteristics, such as scalability, manageability and maintainability, into distributed service-based framework to create or expand business or technical capabilities. Document development iterations; ensuring the quality of technical documentation; creating progress reports. Participate in code and design reviews with network, infrastructure and solutions engineering teams to ensure that solutions meet current enterprise standards.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field followed by five years of progressive experience in the role or in a related position. Four years of experience must include: All phases of SDLC including Requirements Collection, Design & Analysis of the Customer Specifications, Development and Customization of the Application. Developing JSP, JSF and Servlets to dynamically generate HTML and display the data to the client side, utilizing JSP tag libraries. Utilizing Spring Security for Authentication and authorization extensively. Designing and developing Application based on Struts Framework using MVC design pattern. Utilizing Struts Validator framework for client-side validations. Utilizing Spring Core for dependency injection/Inversion of control (IOC). Utilizing Hibernate Framework for persistence onto oracle database. Writing and debugging the ANT Scripts for building the entire web application. Utilizing XML to transfer the application data between client and server. Development of XSLT style sheets for the XML data transformations. Utilizing Log4j for logging and tracking the errors in the project.
