As our first Sales Strategy and Operations Manager, you will be critical in shaping Smartcar’s growth strategy and success, working directly with our CRO, Laura Huddle.
We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, can see the bigger picture, is able to execute and coordinate cross functional partners, and has exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills. You’ll be an innovator who will promote growth and help us evolve to meet the challenges of pioneering a marketplace.

Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with our Chief Revenue Officer on our go-to-market strategy as well as other critical strategic, organizational and operational projects designed to increase revenue, sales productivity and operational efficiency
- Drive strategy and process improvements to promote sales performance and scalability
- Create and own Smartcar’s segmentation and verticalization strategy
- Analyze key sales metrics to identify any trends or insights to help improve efficiency and present findings to leadership in a structured and data driven way
- Build sales playbooks and enablement content for both internal and external use
- Produce client-specific decks and proposals
Who You Are
- 3-8 years of experience in sales strategy and operations at a B2B SaaS company
- A track record of operating in cross-functional initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a complex and fast moving environment
- An analytical mindset and can deliver actionable recommendations out of datasets
- Proficient with analytics such as Excel, Google sheets, Tableau, Metabase etc
- Prior growth-stage startup experience highly regarded
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with a strong attention to detail
- Possesses a hands-on, high-ownership, and a entrepreneurial approach

Compensation and Benefits Package
- Base salary determined by years of experience: $110,000 - $150,000
- Equity
- Remote work within California, New York or Texas
- Health, Dental and Vision covered at 90% for all plans and 80% coverage for dependents, which amounts to approximately $11,000 a year
- 401K matching at 4%
- Unlimited PTO and 10 days of paid holidays
