As a Senior Mechanic at CWI, you will play a vital role in empowering our clients to reach their highest potential by ensuring our fleet of vehicles are in full repair so that clients and staff are able to get where they need to go on time, comfortably, and most importantly, safely.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

· Have at least four (4) years’ work experience with buses or heavy trucks

· Experience with both gas and diesel machinery (required)

· Familiarity with New York State Department of Transportation Laws and Regulations

· One year of supervisory experience is highly desirable

· High School diploma or equivalent

· CDL driver’s license Preferred with at least (1) year of accident and violation free driving

Additional Duties May Include:

· Timely diagnostic inspections

· Repair and maintenance of agency vehicles

· Assist Bus Mechanics and Transit Office Administrator/Driver with ordering parts and vehicle recordkeeping

· Entry level supervision to coach and mentor Bus mechanics and Shop Assistants as required
