Job Description:
As we continue our rapid growth, we are seeking a Senior Accountant & Treasury Analyst with a background in real estate or title insurance to join our team. This role is based in Southfield, Michigan.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day accounting
Oversee month close analysis and reporting
Enhance forecasting model and capabilities
Ensure expenses are approved and appropriately documented and categorized
Act as primary liaison to banking partners
Process internal and external wire, ACH, and check payments
Manage the invoicing process and follow up on overdue payments
Assist with title insurance underwriting and escrow process as needed
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Excel
Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software
Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with existing as well as new clients
Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment to handle all aspects of title support
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Detailed oriented, with analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with Qualia is an advantage
Experience
Bachelor's degree in finance / accounting or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience as an accountant
Knowledge of and interest in real estate / title industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
