Scope of the Position
This is an hourly security position working first shift 6a-2p, second shift 2p-10p and third shift working 10p-6a.
Responsibilities
- Interior/exterior patrols
- Medical escorts/emergencies
- Automobile assists, (jump-starts/unlocks)
- Payroll distribution
- Access control
- Disciplinary/termination support
- Iinvestigations & report writing
- Monitor & record CCTV system
- Monitor time clock activities
- Inclement weather assistance
- Loss prevention
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have HS degree or GED.
- Must be able to lift 60+ pounds.
- Must be able to remain in elements for extended periods of time.
- Must perform walking patrols.
- Must have valid Indiana/Illinois Driver’s License and good driving record.
- Must work weekends/holidays as needed.
- Must have security, military, or law enforcement experience and/or a college degree in criminology/criminal justice.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Effingham, IL 62401: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
