POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Audit Supervisor is responsible for efficiently auditing and reconciling all store transactions as well as auditing supporting documentation and automated computer systems. This role assists the Sales Audit Manager in identifying systems and processes that improve the productivity of the Sales Audit department. The Sales Audit Supervisor provides support, training and mentoring to Sales Audit Processor team members and acts as a liaison between the team and retail stores, field support, customers and the corporate office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Audit sales refunds, voids, tax-exempts sales and deposit slips
• Ensure productivity and turnaround time on variances are in line with company policies, procedures and standards
• Resolve inquiries arising around sales audits from retail store leadership
• Perform necessary departmental administrative duties including data entry, telephone and email responses and filing
• Address and resolve inquiries related to Payware VeriFone
• Assist customers with transaction inquiries
• Manage and reconcile variances
• As requested by the Sales Audit Manager, provide support on payment systems and GL posting
• Support, train and mentor Sales Audit Processor team members

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or a related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in sales audit or internal audit required; experience in the retail industry preferred
• Experience with auditing software preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google platform (i.e. sites, slides, drive, docs, sheets)
